The International List of Famous Waldorf Alumni (…and Waldorf Parents), published by “theWaldorfs"
“The International List of Famous Waldorf Alumni (…and Waldorf Parents)” is a list published in Germany by “theWaldorfs”, an independent initiative of former German Waldorf students. The list is a collection containing the names of Waldorf alumni from many countries who are recognized in their home countries or internationally for positive contributions to the arts, science, politics, commerce, industry, and other fields. At the time of its foundation in 1997 no one expected that the project would trigger such great international interest and global co-operation. Today the list is published in English, contains more than 140 names of famous Waldorf alumni, almost 100 names of prominent Waldorf parents and is being accessed within a month time from more than 70 countries – from Armenia to Venezuela. The Webpage was voted 6 times as one of the “6.000 most important German Internet addresses” (Das Web-Adressbuch für Deutschland).
